Why Ball and Bike Skills?
Based on statistics more than 50% of children with poor gross motor skills or with gross motor dysfunction, suffer from learning problems, speech problems and poor self -esteem. Ball and Bike Skills will give children stronger muscles and bones and well developed motor skills and a healthy appearance.
Our own Busy Bodies Programme now includes Bike Skills. In addition to balancing, core strength, co-ordination and concentration, Busy Bodies Bike Skills builds awareness of Road and General Safety when riding a bicycle on or off the road. We teach skills such as travel distance from the rider ahead of you, avoiding crashes, caring for your bicycle, wearing a helmet at all times, proper hydration, the importance of wearing suntan lotion, being a responsible athlete, and caring for the environment. We are passionate about the outdoors, and love seeing our learners enjoy their environment.
